Hotshots work with several different products, brands and clients all year round and so have a wealth of experience running a variety of promotion campaigns.

The following descriptions are some examples from the last few months of high impact promotion campaigns that Hotshots have run.
ROYAL SUN ALLIANCE - LONDON - MAY 2007
The Hotshots were approached to get on board with the Royal Sun Alliance to
promote their new insurance policies at the Excel exhibition center. The
team gave out branded bottles of water to visitors as they were entering the
center. People were more than happy to take a free bottle- particularly
because it was such a hot sunny day! There was an incentive to go and visit
the Royal Sun Alliance exhibition stand through offering a free mystery gift
when you return an empty bottle of water. 1500 were given out and 100 of
those converted into leads onto the exhibition stand.
TUBORG - NEWQUAY - APRIL 2007
The re-launch of Tuborg required a strong push to get the brand back into
the minds of drinkers. Tuborg enlisted the help of the Hotshots team to
achieve this. Our team sampled the product and acted as brand ambassadors
throughout dates in April and May and helped to increase sales and brand
awareness in the flagship venues throughout the south west.
AFFORDABLE CHILDCARE - PLYMOUTH - MARCH '07
The Hotshots team worked in conjunction with Because Experiential Maketing
to raise awarness of a new government scheme that promotes affordable formal
childcare to parents in Plymouth. The target audience was parents with
category C and D incomes, who would be eligible for government funding to
assist in the costs of childcare. The Hotshots took an advisory role,
giving information to parents on their eligibility, how to apply for
financial help and the key benefits of formal childcare. The team was
trained to a high standard in order to provide the required information.
They had to be smart, articulate and professional. The campaign was a
resounding success.
WILD - REDRUTH - JANUARY 2007
The Hotshots team have been brought in to launch the UK's newest and wildest
new drink...Wild Shooters! The first launch took place at the Zone in
Redruth, with two of Hotshots' finest selling the product from their
holsters. They were dressed in full Wild attire: leopard printed tops and
leggins, so drew a lot of attention! The girls themselves sold nearly 8
bottles, and the product flew from behind the bar, proving that there
definatley is a market for this new product!
RELENTLESS - CARDIFF - NOVEMBER 2006
Hotshots staffed the Relentless promotion in Cardiff at the weekend. The team of two; a guy and a girl, gave out samples to thirsty students at the Unversity pre-club bar, distributed freebies and provided customers with all the brand information they could dream of! The team looked great and were fun and friendly, offering a memorable brand experience.
NODE - EXETER - OCTOBER 2006
The Hotshots team were called in to help raise awareness of Exeter’s trendiest shop, Node. The store is a little of the beaten track, so potential customers need a bit of encouragement to go and check it out. The team take to the High Street every week and give out £10 off vouchers with every £20 you spend, in return for the email addresses of customers. The girls collect around 300 addresses a day, which has helped give Node a substantial customer database and an ideal opportunity for some additional marketing. CAFE MAMBO - TORQUAY - SEPTEMBER 2006
Cafe Mambo called in Hotshots' expertise to run their Christmas party marketing campaign and help promote their Thai restaurant. As part of the project, our Event Coordinator arranged some Thai dancers and a sampling session of their food, to be held during a busy Saturday. in Torquay. The dancers really brought in a crowd, and created an ideal audience which to sample the food to. The event was a great success, and received local media attention. All in all, a great piece of publicity!
FOSTERS - NEWQUAY - AUGUST 2006
Fosters sponsored Newquay's biggest surfing occasion this summer, the RipCurl Boardmasters. The Hotshots team were chosen to represent Fosters for the week-long event. The team ran the merchandise stall, drove the VW Campervan around campsites and the town during the day, and did a sampling sessions in venues during the evening. It was a fantastic week and a massive success for Fosters. Ann from Fosters said "These were the best promotions staff I have ever worked with".
TODKA - EDEN SESSIONS - AUGUST 2006
The Hotshots team helped introduce Todka to the Eden Project during the Eden sessions over the summer. The team had a hand carved surfboard in which to sample the spirit from. Todka is toffee vodka shot that's great by itself, in a long drink or over ice cream. The team really love this product so it was so easy to promote! JAGERMEISTER - NEWQUAY - AUGUST 2006
Hotshots completed the Jagermeister summer campaign this August with a successful weekend of promotion. We had a team member dressed as the Jagermeister stag, along with three others who played Jager games, took polaroids and gave out testubes of Jager. The team created a great party atmosphere in the venues and really got people involved, all the customers had items of Jager merchandise, so the venues were flooded with orange which looked great! A really successful Jagermeister campaign!
CORONA - NEWQUAY - AUGUST 2006
The Hotshots promotion team helped run the Corona campaign in Newquay this summer. Corona combined both daytime and evening promotions to emphasise the brand image and raise the brand profile. During the day the Hotshots team ran a life size table football tournament on Sunnyside campsite. The team had to get campers together and into teams and ensure that the tournament ran smoothly. It was a great success, made a lot of happy campers, and an ingenious way to market the brand!
RED STRIPE - FALMOUTH - AUGUST 2006
Hotshots provided promotions staff to lead the precession in Falmouth at Falmouth Carnival this summer. Red Stripe sponsored the event, and supplied a Red Stripe VW to lead the way. The event was brilliant, attracted thousands of people and was a lot of fun!
COCA COLA - BRISTOL - JULY 2006
Four Hotshots girls and four Hotshots guys made a massive impact in Bristol this week, arriving in a Coca Cola Zero double decker bus and giving out freebies and samples of Coca Cola Zero. Customers were loving the product and the fun atmosphere that the party bus created, a great high impact promotion!!
ANIMAL - NEWQUAY - JULY 2006
Two Hotshots girls ran the Animal Surf board competition at the Animal Beach Balls competition in Newquay. The girls were required to get people to design their dream surfboard on a template, all entrants would be judged by a professional surfer and the winning one would be made for its designer! It was a fantastic competition where everyone could be involved, from kids to surfing enthusiasts and served to attract a great deal of attention to the Animal stand.!
VAUXHALL - CALDROSE - JULY 2006
The Hotshots promotion girls were called in to help Vauxhall promote their newest sports cars of this summer at Caldrose air show in Cornwall. The girls ran a competition to win a test drive of the Vauxhall twin top and collected data of Vauxhall's target audience at the same time. It was a fun filled promo, where the highlight of the day for the girls was driving one of the sports cars home! The promotion was very successful and helped push people towards the Vauxhall stand..
JETSCENE - NEWQUAY - JULY 2006
Six of Hotshots best sales-people set out in Newquay to promote JetScene's newest jet ski and sell tickets to a competition to win a jetski. The team approached people at the Animal Beach Ball Festival, in the town centre and in Newquay biggest nightclubs to sell as many tickets as possible. The jetski was raised onto the top of a nightclub and another one was towed through town in order to attract maximum attention and increase ticket sales.
SHARK - NEWQUAY - JULY 2006
A team of two were required by Shark to give out samples of Sharks newest product, Shark Up, at Bar Help in Newquay. The girls wore skimpy hotpants and cropped rash vests in order to grab attention. The girls were also asked to pose for professional photos for Shark to use in their portfolio.
BERTIES - NEWQUAY - JUNE 2006
Hotshots continued their successful campaign for Berties Nightclub at the weekend by sending out a team of three into the town centre in a hummer. It certainly grabbed people's attention and made a massive impact in the town! The admissions on the night were well up on last year, and we think that's thanks to our promotion!
JAGERMEISTER - NEWQUAY - JUNE 2006
Hotshots are running the Jagermeister campaign in Newquay this year, and got
off to a flying start at The Chy Bar on 12th June. A team of four was
providing an unforgettable brand experience: getting customers to try the
product, giving away freebees, running competitions to win Jager flip flops
and T-shirts, and providing general entertainment! The chant of "Jager,
Jager, Jager, hoy hoy hoy" could be heard for miles! The team sold over 7
bottles of stock, and both venues that they were promoting sold out!
BULMERS ORIGINAL - NEWQUAY - JUNE 2006
Bulmers Original is the market's newest bottled cider. It faces stiff competition from Magners, and so required a high impact promotion in order to get cider drinkers to change their drinking habits and get beer drinkers made aware of the brand. Hotshots had a team of three providing samples of the product throughout several venues in Newquay town centre. The promotion team received a great reception from customers, who were all keen to try a sample of the product. It seemed a sample and a bit of light encouragement was all that was required in order to get the customers to switch brands, as sales of the product increased twofold.
BERTIES NIGHTCLUB - NEWQUAY - MAY 2006
The "Miss Berties" competition was held on May Bank Holiday Monday. The Hotshots team combined beauty pagent sashes with a stretch limo in order to grab the attention of potential candidates and partygoers alike. It worked and the night was a great success.
VODKA CTRL - NEWQUAY - MAY 2006
Hotshots took on the launch of a unique new alcopop called Vodka Ctrl. The team provided information, entertainment and sampling in order to raise the awarness product and push its brand. The impact of this was impressive, on the Saturday and Sunday night of promotion Vodka Ctrl out-sold both Smirnoff Ice and WKD.
4KIKS - EXETER - MAY 2006
Hotshots introduced 4Kiks magazine to its student audience at the Arena Nightclub's Thursday night student party. A combination of distribution and conversation enabled the Hotshots team to draw attention to the new magazine and raise its profile. The team contributed to the party atmosphere by wearing England Football Shirts in anticipation of the World Cup!
XS MUSIC - NEWQUAY - MAY 2006
A team of three combined authentic army outfits with an army truck to make a strong visual impact in Newquay over the Bank holiday weekend to promote the Coolio live music gig held at the Barracuda Bar. The team were armed with a megaphone and tracks from Coolio, and headed into town to make sure every knew where and when Coolio was playing.
JUICED UP - NEWQUAY - APRIL 2006
Five of Hotshots top models provided Juiced Up with an extensive range of top quality modelling shots for Juiced Up magazine. Hotshots organised the location, direction and photographer for this photo shoot, which resulted in over 50 useable photos.
4KIKS MAGAZINE - EXETER - MARCH 2006
Hotshots had a team of three who launched 4Kiks magazine in Exeter. This launch involved distributing magazines to customers in the nightclub, and telling them all about the magazine. Hotshots ran a text to screen competition, the answer of which required finding out who the editor of the magazine was, and took several professional modelling shots throughout the night for the magazine to use when featuring their evening.
SHARK - TORQUAY - MARCH 2006
Promotion included: distribution of samples of Sharks newest product, distribution of promotional material including lanyards, t-shirts and key rings, interacting with customers and telling them about the product, wearing branded gear which included cropped rash vest and hot pants.
FUNKY MUNKY- EXETER - MARCH 2006
A team of three hit the Arena nightclub in Exeter to upsell and promote Funky Munky Vodka Shots. This promotion included running a Treasure Chest Competition, which required customers to buy the drink to enter, and gave them an opportunity to win a cash prize. The team approached everyone with promotion material and information, whcih resulted in a surge of sales of the product.
